Don't Doubt!

Give satan an inch and he'll take a mile!
Once you open your mind to the possibility of failure or lack you have given the enemy of your soul a foothold into your spiritual life.
Don't do it!
Andrea Crouch sings a song about the"Road to Good Intentions"...as being all fun and games...but don't start down that road because it is a dead end on a highway to doubt and discouragement and distractions.
To "almost" believe is to be totally lost.
Guard your mind before it begins to fret or doubt not after!
Jesus said, "Blessed are those who have believed and yet have not seen."
Romans 8:37-39
...in all things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come nor powers, nor heights, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus, our Lord!

FW: Heaven Is A Place Here & Now

Very pleased to announce a radio "one minute spot" that started today here in RI.
I give "inspiration" thoughts...and will post them on this web site
for those who may have missed it.
.
Today's Inspiration:
HEAVEN IS A PLACE HERE AND NOW
The Grand Canyon, the purple mountains of the Rockies, Agawasu Falls in Brazil...are all magnificent! And once you have seen them people exclaim...You should have been there! Why? Because these wonders must be seen in person to be fully appreciated.
Pictures are nice, lectures are meaningful but experiencing these places first hand goes without comparison.

Heaven is the same way!
It is a place here and now!
In order to really know what heaven is like we must prepare to enter its presence everyday.
Seeking God's face and really knowing Him is an everyday occurrence it is not just a...hear-say...pie- in -the- sky...someday bye adn bye...place. It is for today!
If you don't have the taste and scent of holiness here on this earth you will miss the best part of heaven...This sweet fragrance of peace comes by trusting in God and his grace of redemption right now.....

"Although I have never seen the God's face
nor been to heaven
I'm as sure of its location
as if the exact address was given."

Time

Moments are like uncut diamonds. Throw them away and you will never know their value.Resolve to make the most of each moment and you will be surprised how efficiently your day goes.

Like stones polished and cut; each moment well spent brings value to your day. Ecclesiastes 3:1 "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven..." Begin today to use time wisely and you will be surprised how quickly you reach your goals.

MIRACLE! February 2008

Time Between the Promise and the Fulfillment of God’s
Revelation Rema Word Working in me!!

This February my husband and I went to a Medical Health Spa in Adventura, Florida, just North of Miami. The clinic is called Pritikin Longevity Center . It advertises longevity thru proper diet and exercise. Upon arrival we were weighed in and given blood tests and a very active schedule of lectures and exercise routines along with a stress test. They detox you by removing all sugar, salt and oil from your diet. We each had a personal doctor assigned to us. Ours was Dr Sam Sugar. After my 10 minute stress test on the tread mill another Dr read the result and circled an area of concern. My heart rate showed an irregularity when I was at my peak heart rate. ..

Toward the end of our week (On Valentine's Day 2008) Dr Sam Sugar told me that my heart stress test was very bad. That I was a “mess” medically speaking and my thyroid was only functioning 90% and I had high cholesterol!! He looked like he was going to cry when he told me, “ I can’t prescribe any medication for you because it might kill you.” You can only imagine our shock and surprise. I felt healthy and was in no discomfort what so ever. He told me how important it was to contact our primary care doctor at home to schedule an apt. He even phoned Dr Verwest for me to set up the apt and arrange to have all my records forwarded.

My next step at Pritikin was to schedule a visit to the cardiologist , Dr Schipe. He reviewed my records and said I had 20% blockage and possible hardening of the arteries but he wasn’t concerned with someone my age, 64.

However, when I returned to our hotel room the phone was ringing and it was the cardiologist asking me if I had any pressure on my chest. I said yes and he really got excited!! He urged me to get under a doctors care immediately!

You can only imagine my surprise !!

I immediately began to pray and ask the Lord for direction! If I drove all the way back to Cape Coral I wasn’t sure if any cardiologist could see me right away. Then the thought came to me…my neighbor and friend Michael Carmichael is a born again, spirit filled cardiologist and he had mentioned opening a new Heart Clinic in Boynton Beach Fl.

Now here is where the miracles begin to unfold!! Not only was he in the area but the Clinic where he is a director had just opened two weeks prior!! And he and his family were in the process of moving into the area!! He told me to come over right away and bring my records. So I hired a driver and went the next morning to the Bethesda Heart Institute in Boynton Beach . While waiting for Michael to see me I wrote down all the scriptures I could find in my bible on the heart and began reading them over and over. A peace settled over me that is hard to describe.

When Dr Carmichael read my Pritikin lab stress test report he called in his associate Dr Samatha Kwan and together they prayed over me, speaking scriptures. Samatha laid her hand on my heart and spoke new electrolytes and a strong heart with no blockage. It was very precious and anointed! Michael then gave me Ps 51…Create in me a clean (new) heart O! Lord and renew a right spirit within me!! I literally felt the presence of heaven. Like a shikina glory!!

Then as a huge favor to me Dr Michael Carmichael walked me to the lounge outside the OR and introduced me to a Dr Louis Snyder. He also read my records. Both said I should have further tests. Then Dr Snyder called his office and arranged for me to be tested first thing Monday morning.

Ok now here is the next miracle…I live 4 hours away from where all the tests were being done. Michael was leaving the next day to take his wife to Jekyell Island for her birthday and he offered for me to stay at his home. He had just moved and completed fixing up a guest cabana room at their new home where I could stay over the week end . These are not just a coincidences….I believe that they are divine appointments!! So I checked out of Pritikin and moved into the Carmichaels home for the weekend. It was like going into the arms of Jesus. It was so peaceful and loving spending time with two of his children, ages 17 and 9. Rachael and Ian. We relaxed by the pool, swam and had a marvelous time of fellowship!

Monday bright and early I arrived fasting for the next round of tests. The technicians put a dye into my arm and read my heart rhythm during a stress test.

I then drove back home to Useppa Island and waited to hear the results.

During my four hour drive back I kept praising Jesus and thanking Him for my life He spoke to me and said” Kay, the pressure on your heart is Me holding it in the palm of my hands.” What a joy to know Jesus and have a personal relationship with Him! His love and presence remains to this day unshakeable in my life!

Once on Useppa I told my husband what Jesus had said and his comment was “We will still wait to hear from the doctors”….good ol’ Charlie. Always so practical!

We were hosting an Island party the next day and there was a lot to be done.
While setting up for the party Dr Carmichael called and said the results showed an irregular heart beat and he recommended a cauterization procedure. I didn’t want to wait because our grandchildren were arriving in a few days and we only get to see them a couple times a year. So the day after our party I had a driver ferry me across the water at 4:30 am and drove myself to the Bethesda Heart Institute for the surgery. Once again I praised Jesus all the way across. And I was fully prepared to face the results. Telling Jesus “If my death will bring my children closer to you then so be it. I am ready! This year is my 40th year serving Him and I have waited all these years to see Him face to face . So either way I was happy!

It was a surreal experience. Being prepped for surgery and facing what could have been a serious diagnosis. The nursing staff couldn’t have been dearer and more considerate and kind toward me. But all through the procedure I was calm, although anxious I kept getting Phil 4:8 think on whatsoever is pure and just and of a good report…

You are awake for the cauterization procedure and I shall never forget the doctor’s words….Dr Snyder said, “Kay, we have your heart in full view on the screen and you have a perfect heart!! There is no damage or blockage!!

PTL! I could have danced I was so overjoyed!! My heart beat per minute is 85 and I am told that excellent is 60!!! Not only do I have a new heart but I have a very strong heart beat!! The recovery nurses told me that is as strong as a new babies!!! PTL!

The four attending nurses gathered around my bed as I lay in recovery ( you have to lay flat for 4-6 hours afterward) and they said everyone on the floor wants to know what kind of lifestyle you have. We all want your heart! And I said, “I take daily” gos-pills”…They all said what are they? And I said scriptures taken internally keep me well. They all laughed and hugged me and we had a great time visiting and sharing about our families, etc…

Now for the next miracle…A spirit filled sister in the Lord, Dee Cushing, just happened to call me as I was preparing to go to the hospital. She lives in West Palm Beach and kindly offered to drive me to her home after the surgery while I recuperated. I was not told by the attending receptionist who gave me admission instructions that I could not drive for two days afterward. And I had driven myself to the hospital. Once again God worked it all out. Dee picked me up and she and her husband Tom spoiled me with delicious meals and a comfortable 3 nights stay in their lovely home.

Miracles and more miracles just keep occurring….

I was told to see an Endocrinologist as soon as possible to check out my thyroid. Which is probably the cause for my high cholesterol…well guess who was arriving at our home on Sunday? My son-in-law from New Hampshire who just happens to be an Endocrinologist!! Isn’t God amazing? If you tried to arrange such things it would never happen. I stand in awe of my God and His timing and leading!! Barry checked my records and felt my thyroid and said all is well!! Yeh!!~ God!!

Thank you all for your prayers and love.
I live to praise His holy Name!!

P.S.
For all those who think this was simply a misdiagnosis by two internists and three cardiologists and not one but three stress tests and numerous blood and nuclear medicine machine tests.... I must add…

The way everything connected so easily and so quickly was not a chance happening.
I believe with all my heart that it was a divine intervention. The unshakeable peace that was over me the entire time cannot be denied.

Psalm 91 says, “Those who dwell in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” And I truly did! The entire time!

I am not unique in my faith. It is for everyone. Simply believe God’s Word, simply, like a child and He will honor you in ways you cannot imagine!

God comes for His Word spoken over the earth and fulfills it through us.

Love,
k Chapin

Welcome Message

Welcome to my faith filled world where I make it a daily practice to “BLOOM WHERE I AM PLANTED”!!

A better tomorrow comes from working on a better today! And we can do that by laying aside the past and pressing on toward a better goal!

As Benjamin Franklin once said, “One today is worth two tomorrows.”

As we put all our good thoughts ahead of any bad ones we will gain the assurance that. Jesus will never leave us or fail us. Faith in a good and just God makes everything possible. Life can be summed up in just four words, “It came to pass”. It doesn’t matter what you are going through change is inevitable. We alone are responsible for the memories that we keep in our heart. Choose the higher road and be the first to forgive. Do the right thing. And when faced with a decision, “When in doubt leave it out” is another one of my favorite mottos.

Envy and anger will drain your soul of energy and success. So we need to cast away all wrong imaginations. Remembering also, trusting in a good and loving God does wonders for your peace and happiness.

When one stops to realize that “average” is as close to the bottom as it is to the top it will give you the courage to try harder.

I Hope you enjoy reading my Promises book. Applying God’s holy Word to your life is like having the best road map ever charted.
